Providing a solid foundation as you begin the journey to a better life with your dog.

From basic manners to working through more challenging behavioural concerns, I strive to offer programming tailored to each dog as an individual, with your goals in the forefront. My in-home setup provides a calm, comfortable, and low-stress space with a very small capacity, allowing me to give each dog the focused, one-on-one attention they need to thrive.

Why Rocky Mountain Hounds?

In-Home Training

My programs are run right out of my home, not a big facility. Dogs live alongside my daily life routines, learning how to exist calmly and respectfully in a realistic setting that transfers well back home.

Limited Capacity

I only take a handful of dogs at a time so each one gets quality training that never feels rushed. It also helps me to maintain a calm, low-stress environment conducive to learning.

Real-World Exposure

Training goes far beyond the backyard. Dogs join me on walks through neighbourhoods, local parks, and busier environments to ensure they can stay calm, confident, and responsive in different environments.

  • Let’s start your new pup on the right track! • This program is designed for owners who want hands-on involvement in their dog’s training journey — introducing new skills and working through minor behavioural concerns together. While I’ll lay the groundwork during the Day Train sessions, your dog’s progress will hinge on your consistency and follow-through at home.

You’ll receive weekly homework and clear guidance during our one-on-one sessions to help you apply the new skills in your everyday routine and strengthen your communication and relationship.

Through this program, your dog will focus on a few key skills tailored to your goals, such as:

The Day Train Program runs for 4 weeks and includes:

    • Two (2) Day Trains per week (drop-off 7am–9:30am, pick-up 4pm–6:30pm) where I’ll teach and proof the skills aligned with your goals through multiple daily sessions.

    • One (1) One-on-One Session per week to teach you how to transfer the new skills back home. Homework will be given weekly.

    • Two (2) Owner Coaching Calls to use as needed between sessions and up to 2 months post-training.

    Investment: $1125 + tax

Tools: Recommended based on each individual dog and not included in the price. Tools range from $30–$350 depending on the goals and issues at hand. Tools may include slip leads, e-collars, and prong collars.

Programs

I start with an in-home assessment to meet your dog in their home environment, talk through your goals, and get a clear picture of where things are at. From there, we’ll choose the right program together. The assessment is $75 + tax, which is credited toward your training program should we move forward.

Owner Support

The most important aspect when it comes to long term success is YOU!

Through multiple one-on-one sessions, you will learn how to effectively communicate with your dog in various situations and environments and how to utilize their new skills in real life!

I’m here for you! Every program includes post-training support, including Owner Coaching Calls and written guides/homework to help ensure that you feel confident to continue your dog’s training back home.
